“You are haunted by the turmoil of your lives
Walking circles, crossing lines
And it is tearing up your souls, of this fury
Jumping hurdles, just to abide

You are drowning in the sorrow of a billion opinions
Nobody can hear you
Nobody can hear you
This is psychosis
This is psychosis
This is the jigsaw blown apart.”

I have not the words for how much this song resonates within me, to the bottom of my soul.

Animal fun fact: Chinchillas can’t get wet. Their fur retains too much water and will start to grow mold. So they bathe by rolling around in dust.

Chinchilla fun fact: Chinchillas have around 20 hairs per follicle; unlike humans who have 2-3 hairs per follicle. Because their fur is so dense, they cannot get fleas or other parasites. The bugs will suffocate in their fur.

What cuties

Chinchilla fun fact: Petting one of those awesome little guys feels like touching a motherfucking cloud.

AcareenWood Ocarina PokemonGhost/GrassName origin (Acacia+Ocarina)

-Acareen’s song hypnotizes children, luring them into the maze-like forests it calls home. No one knows why it does this.-Acareen gets around by hopping about. When it wants to move faster, it levitates itself and hurls its body in the direction it wants to go.

DysphonyPied Piper PokemonGhost/GrassName origin (Dissonance+Symphony+phony)

-It has the ability to control the emotions of Pokemon and humans alike with sound. It is speculated that Dysphony lure adults into forests through their song, leading them to another dimension.
-When a flock of Acareen gather, a Dysphony is not far behind. They love to conduct groups and often host singing competitions.

So, these are a few of my Fakemon that I’ve had around for a while and have finally decided to finalize. They’re based on the Pied Piper of Hamelin and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s ocarina. Acareen was inspired by wooden ocarinas shaped like birds, small brown birds, and the Northern Cardinal. Dysphony was inspired by plague masks, ocarinas, musical conductors and woodpeckers. Both also have influence from the acacia trees, specifically the whistling thorn. Why plague masks? Because there is a theory that the children of Hamelin “disappeared” during an epidemic of sorts.
I have modified Dysphony a few times before, and I believe I’ve posted its previous design here before, but here is that design

and the initial design

There was a middle stage but I decided to omit it.
[They’re Ghost/Grass because Acareen was born from an inanimate wooden object, and that carries on to its final stage]
